woman holding up her debut book overtop box of others

My debut book is now available!

Never, Never, Hardly Ever, is now available for order on Amazon.

My debut book is now available!

Yes, you can now read about how Francine and I managed to work together for over a decade at her iconic Vancouver Asian antique shop. Oh, there are stories. Can you say, “Mother-Daughter dynamics?”

I’m thrilled to share I got a copy into Francine’s hands on Saturday. Elderly woman in green top holding bookIt was a proof copy, mind; one with a few mistakes since corrected in the author’s copy. Don’t worry, I’ll get her an autographed copy sooner than soon!

Has she read it? Yes! She called me yesterday to report she’d stayed up late into the night and finished it. I admit it got me teary as she’s not read a book in awhile. Always a voracious reader – three books in a week was not uncommon – at 101, she’s more comfortable doing word searches now. So, for her to read Never, Never, Hardly Ever in one sitting? A true example of the power of a mother’s love.

Here’s the universal Amazon link

I thank you for your support and hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

And of course Francine loved the book – she’s a star! Plus I’m sure she appreciates the exceptional work, talent and love her daughter put into “Never, Never, Hardly Ever.”

    1. Thank you, Jacky. Love that you had it marked on the calendar! And yes, Francine has called me several times about the book. She “read it late into the night.” Honestly, I’m really pleased I got a copy into her hands.

  3. Just ordered three copies. Maybe a class reunion this summer would provide an opportunity have them signed!?

    1. Thank you so much, Susan. I do appreciate it. And that’s a good idea re the class reunion. How on earth are we celebrating such a momentous number, though. Yikes.
