Sailing Into Milestone Birthdays
This painting is the latest creation by Francine, our 93 year-old wonder. She protests, stringently, to be called a wonder.
“Oh, Kelly, I’m not. Not really.”
Well, I beg to differ, Mom. As we often say, you won hands down in the gene pool department. Most days, you’re busier than me. And, when you get your new computer, you will actually be able to read this in a timely fashion.
Speaking of timely fashion, yesterday I wrote a post about the fact that Francine and my son share the same birthday. In mere days, she will turn 94 and he will be 21.
Somehow, in Just TypiKel fashion, the post was published but NOT distributed to the subscribed readers of Just TypiKel. So, I’m sending this post out in the hopes that it will be published properly and I won’t have to reach out to my lovely blog rescuer Michele.
The post that vanished can be found here:
Family News. He’s Almost 21 and She’s Nearly 94
If this post does flutter into your inbox, could you drop me a line and let me know you got it? My blood pressure thanks you.
Ok. Fingers crossed. I’m pressing “publish” NOW.

She is a wonder indeed…the painting is marvelous.
I don’t like to contradict Francine, but she definitely has it wrong this time. She is indeed a wonder. And one with another delightful painting to her credit.
Hope the no-notification publishing thing was just a one-time fluke. Perhaps we can blame Mercury retrograde and call it good.
I did receive the original post. Happy Birthday to that wonderful woman, and her young grandson.
Thank you, Yvonne. So lovely to hear your kind wishes. I’ll pass them on to Mom and H.
