Before it grows any older, I want to thank you for hanging out with me here, for giving me your enthusiastic support and for kindly assuring me that I’m not just sitting here at my dining room table blathering away to the ether.

Today is a day to rest and hydrate and lose the hangover be with good friends and loved ones. So, I’ll give keep this short. Please know that I am wishing for you, my dear readers and pals, the very best of 2017. May it be your best year yet.

    1. Thank you, Vickie. I wish you a very Happy New Year and look forward to your posts. May the words flow freely for us both.

  1. Today is a day for cleaning and organizing 😉 – I’m determined to start this year poised to find whatever I might be looking for in moments instead of days as the item needing attention moves onto tomorrow’s (and next week’s, next month) to do lists in search of that illusive tool needed for completion. Enjoy your time with family and friends. Looking forward to seeing your future posts (and book teasers).

    1. Oh, Nanette, you made me grin. Looking and looking and looking for the illusive tool happens a lot with me as well. Good on you for tackling the organization of things. Yesterday we shed the tree of its ornaments and today we battle with it out the door. You’ve reminded me to look for the broom and pan before we do that. Needles will be showered throughout the living room and kitchen. Vacuuming will happen however the majority of the needles need to be swept up beforehand or the vacuum won’t survive.
And yes, there will be a plethora of book teasers landing in your email box … thank you!

  2. Happy New Year ????? Kelly!! Wishing you and yours all your hearts desire, much love, good health and a heart full of laughter.
Love you blog and will await its return!!

    1. What lovely wishes, Janice. I do thank you and wish for you and your family the very same. Happy New Year! May all of your hard work de-icing the street in front of your house keep the dreaded ice at bay. H had a delightful morning chipping away at the backyard steps with his father’s sturdiest hammer. Now that’s a story I wish I could tell … “there will be no photos, none, taken, thank you, Mother…”

    1. Thank you so very much, Jane. I appreciate your support so much more than you know. The happiest and healthiest of the New Year to you and your family. Looking forward to our catch up …

    1. The Happiest of New Years to you, Katie Sis! Absolutely loved meeting you as well in ’16 and know that this year we’ll somehow swing a rendezvous. Got to.

  3. I feel like I’m in an old Seinfeld re-run where the gang complains that they are still getting “Happy New Year!” even in February. But January 9 isn’t all that bad I’d argue. So have a very happy 2017 indeed! I’ll be here whenever you post. Maybe a week or two late, but still here!

    1. January 9 is fine, however my response on January 17 is perhaps not. Tightening up here. Looking forward to chatting with you both at your blog house and mine!

  4. And it’s just typical of me to be so late in visiting my favorite bloggers. Happy New Year, and I hope 2017 will be wonderful for you!
